About me
Growing up with an appreciation for art, I always thought I had an eye for something creative. I didn't know much about photography until I joined the U.S. Navy out of Austin, Texas in 2015 as a Mass Communication Specialist, also known as MC.
As an MC, I was responsible for documenting what Sailors do through photography, videography, journalism and graphic design. After finishing training for my job, I reported to my first command, the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). Within three days of being there I was handed a camera and told to go take photos of daily operations. After seeing what I had the ability to capture, I fell in love with photography.
I separated from the Navy November 2022 and my goal now is to capture the moments that mean most to people and tell a beautiful story.
